STINGER ENHANCES THE POWERSPORTS ADVENTURE AT SEMA 2019
Stinger Electronics introduces new audio and lighting solutions at SEMA 2019, raising the bar for powersports vehicles.
LAS VEGAS, NV November 5, 2019 — Today, Stinger Electronics, designer and manufacturer of high-performance audio accessories and components, unveiled its new audio and lighting solutions for powersports vehicles at SEMA 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stinger’s Dynamic Whips feature 360° of bold, bright LEDs with vibrant, customizable color patterns. Synchronize two whips for an impactful experience using Stinger’s Bluetooth or RF control module (sold separately). Personalization options are endless with 273 variable colors, lighting and color patterns, and brightness levels. Featuring Stinger’s quick release system, making it easy to enjoy and go, taking only seconds to detach your whips when done.
New to Stinger’s Powersports lineup are Dynamic Strip Lights. Vibrant, multi-color patterns flow through these LED lighting strips in an element-resistant housing, allowing you to create enhanced lighting experiences in any vehicle. Now, powersports fans can control the light show on their Jeeps, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, and watercraft with the touch of a button. Just like Dynamic Whips, these Dynamic Strip Lights put personalization in the hands of the user thanks to Stinger’s Bluetooth Smart RGB LED controller and smartphone app or an RF controller if smartphone control is not needed.
Three new dash kits add to Stinger’s Polaris® accessory lineup for select Ranger® and RZR® models, allowing users to integrate their 3-inch gauge-style powersports media players into their powersports adventures. Quick installation makes it easy to get up and running in less than 45 minutes with secure mounting on factory dash panels for that OEM look, feel, and durability.
Stinger has expanded its line of Universal LED Pods to now include green, amber, blue, and red. With limitless possibilities from function to style, Universal LED Pods are great for marine, powersports, and on-road vehicles of all types. The bright CREE LED pods come in pairs; these powerful lights cut through the darkness to provide safety and flair, and their aluminum housing is waterproof and dustproof, making them ideal for off-road use when conditions are less than ideal. These LED pods mount reliably and securely on both flat and tubular surfaces so that they can be used with confidence in powersports vehicles’ underbodies, engine compartments, and interiors. Multiple cable routing options are available, and mounting pads and hardware are included.
Stinger’s 8-light universal underbody kit is also new for the SEMA show this year. This RGB LED kit allows users to add extra dazzle to their boats and off-road powersports vehicles. Bluetooth controls make for easy use via an iPhone or Android smartphone with an app available to choose dynamic modes and colors, or music fans can even put on a light show by syncing LEDs to change with the music. Installation is easy thanks to the plug-and-play design that does not require any soldering or crimping, so, powersports aficionados can add RGB illumination anywhere they want it.
Stinger is proud to debut its new accessory control category at the 2019 SEMA show, led by the new plug-and-play SPXSH440, a first of its kind, continuous high-current, marine-grade, 4-channel solid state relay that allows smooth control of 12-volt accessories. Users can connect and control power to virtually any 12-volt accessory with ease and flexibility to run multiple circuits in parallel for higher output demands. This hub features protection against high temperatures, overloads, water intrusion, and short circuits with diagnostic LEDs—meaning that it can stand up to whatever adventure a powersports fan can devise. For maximum control and easy user interface, pair with a SPXM1 3” Radio with built-in controls and quick access buttons.
Stinger Powersports will be located at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall during the SEMA Show, November 5-8, 2019. Look for Stinger Powersports at Booth number 11616.
