Product Manager

We are currently seeking a bright and ambitious candidate to join our company in the role of Product Manager, reporting into the Sales Director for our Aftermarket division.  This presents a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. 

Based in Kingswinford, West Midlands, you will provide a key role in leading product development with responsibility for the delivery of innovative products and product enhancements.  Working with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Company’s product range.

Your Role

As the Product Manager, specifically you will:

  • Manage the development, iteration and delivery of products and features.
  • Identify and evidence customer demand and need for product(s) or feature(s)
  • Develop an expert understanding of customer requirements and champion these in the development of the Company’s product offering
  • Identify any new product leads and/or development opportunities that compliment the Company’s current brands
  • Create, manage, and update product roadmaps on an on-going basis
  • Working with the Technical Engineering team, oversee development, testing, piloting and go-live of products
  • Oversee the ongoing evaluation of new product features/enhancements
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with current vendors
  • Regularly communicate with current vendors on any new products in their offerings, highlighting those that would enhance the Company’s own product range to the relevant stakeholders
  • Manage any relevant suppliers to time, budget and quality
  • Ensure all sourced products adhere to the required international regulations.
  • Develop product specifications/descriptions for use by the Aftermarket Sales, Marketing and Production Teams

About You

To be considered for the Product Manager position role, you will need:

  • Experience of product management and/or product development, with creativity and passion for creating great products
  • Knowledge of automotive entertainment industry
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Experience of creating, updating and prioritising product plans
  • Familiarity with a range of agile delivery techniques and tools
  • Experience of engaging with customers and turning client research into product improvements
  • Familiarity with setting, monitoring and reporting measurable product targets
  • Knowledge of current vehicle communication platforms e.g., CAN, MOST, UART, LVDS
  • Knowledge of international regulations, i.e., CE/E/ROHS/RED
  • Experience in a product/sales position
  • Experience in utilising CAN monitoring tools to gather vehicle data
  • Knowledge and practical experience of basic workshop tools, e.g., Oscilloscope and Digital Multimeter
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skillset
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels

IT Manager, Kingswinford

We are currently seeking a bright and ambitious candidate to join our company in the role of I.T. Manager supporting circa 120+ PC and ERP users. This presents a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. Based in Kingswinford, West Midlands, you will provide a key role overseeing all computer systems for the European arm of the business. Managing systems, software, overseeing the purchasing, installation and maintenance of equipment, and maintaining computer networks and connectivity. The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the continued smooth running of the operation from an IT perspective including telephony.

Your Role

As the IT Manager you will:

Specifically, you will:

  • Supervise daily operations of all I.T. Systems infrastructure, including telephony within the European region of the business.
  • Work closely with the US on standardizing operations where possible and leveraging economy of scale.
  • Support the enhancement of the ERP system (NetSuite) and corresponding dealer portals (UK and Nordics), which run on a centralized platform out of the US.
  • Ensure the security, efficiency and stability of all IT systems for all users in the region.
  • Manage and oversee the BCP process including, evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup procedures. Ensuring that all mechanisms for system restore and disaster recovery are in place, robust and have been proven to work.
  • Co-ordinate IT support, including training, communication and orientation for new equipment and new and existing users.
  • Deliver all IT requirements throughout the business in a timely manner.
  • Oversee troubleshooting/repair where necessary for all IT related issues – managing the employee helpdesk system and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Track inventory and status for hardware and software throughout the organisation, ensuring all equipment can be located and is recovered/reallocated where necessary.
  • Develop/contribute to the global strategy for the future advancement of the business systems infrastructure
  • Oversee and advise on the organisation's IT equipment, networking and connectivity needs, aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements.
  • Assess and purchase new and replacement hardware, parts and services accordingly
  • Line management responsibility for the IT Systems Support Administrator, including setting schedules for work, supporting training and assessing performance
  • Regular liaison with all departments, including human resources to identify employee needs in the hiring and exit process.
  • Research and remain up-to-date and proficient regarding all new IT equipment/solutions and advise the business as necessary.

About You

To be considered as an IT Manager, you will need the following:

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent IT-related qualification
  • Proven experience in an IT Manager role, a very strong technical background with hands on capability and experience in managing infrastructure and networks
  • Expertise in Windows/Microsoft products
  • Significant experience in ERP software – previously supporting NetSuite would be an advantage
  • Experience in relational databases and SQL including a working knowledge of reporting from databases.
  • Previous experience in a generalist infrastructure, IT support or first-line support in a windows environment
  • Experience in a line management/supervisory role
  • Experience trouble shooting hardware, software and network issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of specifying and purchasing hardware, software and consumables
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving, decision making and excellent organisational skills

Your Role
