Product Manager

We are currently seeking a bright and ambitious candidate to join our company in the role of Product Manager, reporting into the Sales Director for our Aftermarket division.  This presents a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. 

Based in Kingswinford, West Midlands, you will provide a key role in leading product development with responsibility for the delivery of innovative products and product enhancements.  Working with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Company’s product range.

Your Role

As the Product Manager, specifically you will:

  • Manage the development, iteration and delivery of products and features.
  • Identify and evidence customer demand and need for product(s) or feature(s)
  • Develop an expert understanding of customer requirements and champion these in the development of the Company’s product offering
  • Identify any new product leads and/or development opportunities that compliment the Company’s current brands
  • Create, manage, and update product roadmaps on an on-going basis
  • Working with the Technical Engineering team, oversee development, testing, piloting and go-live of products
  • Oversee the ongoing evaluation of new product features/enhancements
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with current vendors
  • Regularly communicate with current vendors on any new products in their offerings, highlighting those that would enhance the Company’s own product range to the relevant stakeholders
  • Manage any relevant suppliers to time, budget and quality
  • Ensure all sourced products adhere to the required international regulations.
  • Develop product specifications/descriptions for use by the Aftermarket Sales, Marketing and Production Teams

About You

To be considered for the Product Manager position role, you will need:

  • Experience of product management and/or product development, with creativity and passion for creating great products
  • Knowledge of automotive entertainment industry
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Experience of creating, updating and prioritising product plans
  • Familiarity with a range of agile delivery techniques and tools
  • Experience of engaging with customers and turning client research into product improvements
  • Familiarity with setting, monitoring and reporting measurable product targets
  • Knowledge of current vehicle communication platforms e.g., CAN, MOST, UART, LVDS
  • Knowledge of international regulations, i.e., CE/E/ROHS/RED
  • Experience in a product/sales position
  • Experience in utilising CAN monitoring tools to gather vehicle data
  • Knowledge and practical experience of basic workshop tools, e.g., Oscilloscope and Digital Multimeter
  • Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skillset
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organisation
  • Experience in project/programme management
  • Determination to achieve results
  • Flexibility to travel internationally when required

Content Writer

We are currently seeking a dedicated Content Writer to join our UK Marketing team based in Kingswinford. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work with a global leading Automotive technology company that manufactures a full spectrum of Automotive products across several global brands.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, but also working with the Head of our D2C team, you will be responsible for creating content for product descriptions, blog articles, social media and the company’s various websites.

The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, and regularly updating the company's various websites while promoting the company’s products, services, and capabilities not only through our own channels but also across various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial and brand guidelines when creating content. With several brands and thousands of different products to market, it is crucial that the Content Writer is able to switch their writing and brand messaging to suit the relevant brand and audience.

As a successful content writer in the digital world, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should have a good understanding of SEO and be able to implement this when creating content for our digital platforms that in turn will increase reader engagement.

Your Role

  • Conducting research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
  • Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.

About you

To be considered for the Content Writer position, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role whereby you have worked in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Have a good level of experience in writing content to achieve SEO best practices.
  • Product content management experience, with the ability to consistently and effectively optimise the website content to help drive traffic, engagement, and sales.

Your Role

As the Sales Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for all sales enquiries within the Aftermarket division of the business.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming sales calls and e-mail enquiries, maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Build good working relationships with existing and new customers
  • Input orders onto the computer system
  • Ensure that back orders are fulfilled
  • Liaison with other departments and key stakeholders within the company
  • Provide administrative support to the external/internal sales team members
  • Working from and maintaining the company database
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships between relevant departments.
  • Additional ad hoc duties as and when required.

 

About You

To be considered for the Sales Administrator role, you will need:

  • Previous sales administration/data experience in a similar type of role is advantageous but not essential as full on the job training will be given.
  • Ability to work well with others, a proven team player
  • Professionalism and a high level of attention to detail

  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
